Yikes -- I just saw a big fuckin' cockroach out in the hallway. It was black, and had to be about three inches long at least. I've seen a few since I moved here, but never one that big, and usually more of a reddish brown. And never one inside my apartment building (*shivers*). Thank god it wasn't in my apartment...

Cockroaches aren't poisonous, right? Just gross and creepy. Right? (*nudges Inuyasha plushie towards the door*) Sick 'em, boy! Go on...you're good with giant bugs...

I am choosing to believe that it is completely alone -- that it has simply gotten lost, and is trying to find its way back to its friends, far, far away from here. If you know this not to be true, please do not disillusion me (*grin*). On the other hand, if you can confirm that this is most likely the case, by all means do...

Seriously, I may have trouble sleeping tonight. I'm gonna go put on my socks, just to be safe. And maybe my shoes...

I hate cockroaches. I lived in a dorm for a year, and never saw a single one. Now, I live in a house just down the hill and through a small patch of woods, and I'm this ( ) close to just carrying my shoes with me always so that I can just kill on sight, instead of seeing them, running to find a shoe, running back and not seeing it anymore. And not being able to find the cockroach (or huge spiders, as the case may be) to kill it when you know it's there is worse than having cockroaches and not seeing them at all.

Eww...I'm relatively okay with spiders (my room at home was in the basement, so I sorta got used to them), but cockroaches really freak me out. At least with a spider you can get a huge wad of toilet paper and just crush them, but roaches...I just have no idea what to do with a cockroach. Except put as much distance between it and me as possible... (*grin*)

Oh, I hate when there's a big bug in the room, but it hides before you can kill it. (*shivers*) That's why I was so glad the roach was out in the hallway -- at least I can still imagine that my apartment is a completely safe haven...
