Enthusiastic...about the right things, sure. Enterprising...yeah, I guess so. As long as it doesn't necessarily entail an ability to finish all the enterprises I undertake (*grin*). Courageous...in the sense of having the courage to move far away to a big city for college or get up on stage and perform, yes (I don't find either of these things too frightening myself though, so I'm not sure they really come under the heading of "courage"); in the sense of having the courage to jump out of planes or run in front of traffic on the off-chance I'll make it across before the car reaches the intersection, not so much. Likes to take risks...well, see previous...lol...

No idea what the hell a "Bastet" is. I've heard of Isis though...

In other news, sounds like they've turned the ACs back on at the apartment building. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that the reason mine quit working was indeed because of the mysterious "emergency," and not because it just crapped out on me. It stopped working last night, and the email about the emergency didn't arrive until late this morning. My roommates had some trouble with their unit about a week ago, so I'm really paranoid about the whole AC situation at the moment -- plus, I am completely in love with air conditioning. Always have been. I do not do well in heat -- I'm not exactly what you'd call the "outdoorsy type." AC is the top item on my list of required living conditions, right above internet and cable. A bed falls somewhere around number five or six... (*grin*)

Bastet, better known as Bast, was the ancient Egyptian goddess of felines and the sun. I think she may have also been a war goddess, but can't remember.

I'm glad to hear that your AC is working again. I know I couldn't live without mine. Hope it wasn't anything major that made it crap out in the first place.

Yeah -- I had to reset the AC unit (which required finding my circut breaker box for the first time since I moved in), but it's finally working. Yay! And if it stops working again, now I have a trick to try before I have to call someone in. That's always nice...
