I’m a bit late getting started on this because I got hit with a massive headcold during the first couple of weeks of the year. But now I’m trying to catch up! Couldn’t resist. : )
 

Hi! My name is Jess. I’m an American in my early thirties, and I live in Germany with my wife jo_lasalle . By day I’m a web programmer, and by all-the-other-times I’m a fanfic writer and mostly-twitter-user (as you can see from the sparseness of my Dreamwidth). I originally found my way into fandom solely as a fanfic reader and writer, so I’ve never really gotten deeply involved in the meta-commentary side of fandom somehow. Not that I don’t enjoy it when the opportunity arises, either in person or on someone else’s journal. But somehow it always feels strange to me to think about writing up long essays on my thoughts about X or Y aspect of canon and then post them for people to read… : )

Anyway, more to come on the specifics of my fandom history in Challenge #2 (spoiler alert), but if you’re interested in finding my stories from various fandoms, here’s where to look:

Hi! I'm glad you decided to join in with Snowflake! I have a feeling we'll see more of each other when I've watched more than the first ep of Guardian (and maybe The Untamed, as that is also all over my f-list now *g*).
