frameofmind6Just started watching the first season of A Bit of Fry and Laurie...oh my god, I can't breathe...so funny...
Weirdly, I noticed in a couple of sketches that Stephen Fry was reminding me uncannily of Eric Idle, of all people -- I would never have thought to compare those to. There was something about his approach to that sort of fast-talking pseudo-intellectual type character that seemed reminiscent of some of Eric's stuff -- something about the vague little smile, the awkward angular movements, the sort of combination of an apparently open helpfulness contrasted with the completely incomprehensible nonsense coming out of his mouth...it's hard to explain, but it was definitely there. Anyway, I love these two (Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie, that is) -- they have a fantastic dynamic. This is really great stuff...
