Alright, Russian pair skating right now (he's in gray, she's in red) -- I don't actually recognize the music, but the style sounds so much like John Williams...anybody else happen to be watching and recognize it? For some reason I'm thinking maybe Schindler's List. Never seen that movie, but it feels right...

EDIT: Ha! I figured out how to look it up on the Olympics Vancouver website -- it was Seven Years in Tibet (which, now that I think of it, I actually did see ages ago), and it is indeed by John Williams. Score another point for me! (Well, okay, half a point... *grin*)

Oh my God. Did you just see them fall apart? Can't believe they lost it like that.

Lol -- actually, my entry was about the earlier Russian pair that was in gray and red (guess they didn't get around to comparing costumes before they got to the Olympics, eh? *grin*). But yeah, I saw that -- eeks. By the end I was a little worried that they'd psyched themselves out so much that they'd make an injury-causing mistake or something...

Heh. I realized that after I went looking for that website you mentioned. (You think? Maybe they should have. :P) I have to wonder what the judges were watching that they got such a good score out of that performance.

Very glad they didn't hurt themselves, though. 'Cause completely agreeing with you there.

Yeah, I was surprised at that too. I guess they had a strong enough score from the short program that it must have balanced some of it out.
